Zeus von Ziesar is a gorgeous 2 year old German Shepherd. This larger boy has those classic German Shepherd soulful eyes and really connects with his people. A loyal and obedient lad of medium energy, he will mannerly keep in a “Heel” position and is remarkably attuned to you and willing to please, so much so that he honors not only leash corrections but also verbal ones. He is an amazing listener who wants to respect his handler. Although a bit shy at first, once comfortable he’ll clue you in quickly as to how much he loves being petted. In fact, Zeus will lean into you for pets and scratches, just like a cat! He is proud to inform you that he has an extensive knowledge database including  “Sit”, “Go Down” and “Paw." He’s a great car passenger, is treat-motivated and takes them gently, and may even be housebroken! And furthermore… he does well in playgroups around calm dogs like himself - he’s not a fan of pushy ones.  He has done well meeting a small dog but says, "No, thank you" to kitties. Zeus just needs someone with shepherd experience who appreciates his loyal nature.
